Foster and CASA, friends for 10 years

Foster was only around 6 months old when we first saw her. She knows her name and talks to us, but has never allowed us the privilege of petting her. A friend to all kitties, Kari fell for Foster when she joined Piedmont CASA in January as our recruitment and training coordinator. She wrote Foster's biography and now it's a book. A seasoned educator with 17 years of K-12 experience, Kari wrote Foster the CASA Cat to promote empathy and support for children in foster care.
