Alison Taravella joined Piedmont CASA as a Supervisor in February 2017. She previously served as a CASA Advocate during her undergraduate studies at UVA, where she earned a degree in Psychology. Prior to coming to Piedmont CASA, Alison provided in-school behavioral support to children through Region Ten and, before that, worked with families at the Discovery School of VA for adolescent boys. In 2026, Alison transitioned into the role of Grants and Communications Coordinator for Piedmont CASA. She and her husband live in Albemarle County and are the parents of two awesome kids. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, playing with her family, watching Netflix and being outside.
