Kari Joyner joined our team in January 2025. A seasoned educator with 17 years of K-12 experience, she holds a B.A. in History – Secondary Education (grades 6-12) and an M.S. in Education – School Library Media from Longwood University. Prior to joining us, Kari served as a high school history teacher, librarian, and coach. Beyond the classroom, she has had a diverse range of interests, including running, reading, and language learning. Her love for history, culture, and language often fuels her passion for travel.
