DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, October 19\, we held our first Volunteer Picnic in seven years. Seventy-seven CASA Volunteers registered and we had the beautiful Meriwether Springs Vineyard & Brewery completely to ourselves – so there was plenty of room for social distancing\, both inside and outside. \nPiedmont CASA President Kate Duvall and CASA Supervisor Sherri Rosser announced the Ruth Stone Advocates of the Year: Mary Nafpaktitis for 2020 and Grace Giras for 2021. Then there was a surprise award for our longest serving CASA Supervisor\, Kati Naess. \nIt was a lovely autumnal evening – and we are already looking forward to next year! \n  \n  \nBridges Coach Leah Cole with CASA Supervisors Sherri Rosser\, Alison Taravella\, Kati Naess\, and Steve Dufort. \nCASA Volunteers Dan Alexander and Diane Dale. \nPiedmont CASA President Kate Duvall announces award winners. \nCASA Supervisor Kati Naess\, Friends of CASA Co-Chair Michi Burke\, and PCASA Board member Annie Izard. \n  \nA toast to CASA Supervisor Kati Naess.
